For people who want to straighten their teeth, but don’t want to deal with metal braces, Invisalign can be a great option. Since this technique of using clear aligners is different than that of metal braces, an Invisalign-trained provider is needed to move your smile in the right direct.

Picking the right provider might seem overwhelming. Luckily, you can visit us at Marina View Dentistry in Oxnard, CA to see how we work hand in hand with dental technicians to create perfectly fit clear aligners for you.

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign gently and gradually moves your teeth with a series of aligners made just for you. There are a few reasons Invisalign might be a better option for you than traditional metal braces.

Discrete

Now you can change your smile gradually without making a loud statement to the world. Invisalign is practically invisible so it won’t get in the way of your look and style.

Comfort

Unlike metal braces that have wires and brackets that can poke and irritate your tongue and the inside of your mouth, Invisalign smoothly moves your teeth gradually towards the look you want.

Convenient

With Invisalign you are not forced to brush and floss around brackets and wires or only eat certain types of food. Having clear aligners doesn’t disrupt your normal life the way metal braces tend to affect daily habits.

Why should I get Invisalign?

If you are dissatisfied with the look of your smile, Invisalign is the discrete and minimally invasive way to make a change. You may have seen our patients in Oxnard, Ventura, Camarillo, Port Hueneme, Point Mugu Nawc, and the surrounding areas wearing Invisalign aligners and not even known it. Now it’s easier than ever to get the smile you always wanted without drastically changing your life.

How do I take care of my Invisalign?

Since the Invisalign aligners are removable, it is simple and easy to clean them and maintain good oral hygiene. The Invisalign cleaning kit has all you need to help keep your aligners clean, clear, and free of odor. You can also brush them and rinse in lukewarm water.

How much does Invisalign Cost?

This month’s special cost of treatment is $1500 to maximum $5500. In some cases, insurance benefits will cover most of the treatment cost. The usual cost of Invisalign treatment is comparable to the cost of metal braces, and in the U.S., can range from $3,000 – $8,000. As with other medical treatments, only your dentist can determine the actual cost based on your specific needs and will work with you to customize your individual plan. Other factors contributing to your cost may include the complexity of your individual needs, how long you are in treatment, your orthodontic insurance coverage, and additional factors determined by Dr Magnis.

Paying for Invisalign Treatment

Insurance

Many dental insurance plans cover Invisalign treatment just as they would other orthodontic treatments like metal braces. Plans may cover up to $3,500 of Invisalign treatment. Talk to your Invisalign-trained doctor or insurance provider to find out how much you’re covered for.

FSA

Did you know you can apply your Flexible Spending Account toward Invisalign treatment? You can set up to $2,500 of your pretax dollars aside through your FSA and use those funds to help cover the cost of Invisalign treatment. Then, you can apply for FSA reimbursement.

Payment Plans

Many Invisalign-trained doctors can offer flexible and affordable monthly payment plans. If your insurance doesn’t cover all of your treatment costs or if cost is a concern for you, discuss your options with your doctor.
